Steve is the owner of Richards & Richards in Nashville Tennessee and is well known within the Records Management Industry for his persistent contributions to industry groups such as ARMA and PRISM. He is also a member of NAID.
He has served twice on the Board of Directors of PRISM (ACRC), also serving on its Executive Committee as the Secretary of the Board. He has served in various capacities on the local, national and international level of ARMA. Of note, he served as the International Conference Chairman of ARMA in 1995 and was the PRISM Conference Chairman in 1996.
A native of Mayfield Kentucky, Steve lives in Nashville with his wife and three children.
Richards & Richards was previously selected by the Nashville Business Journal as the Small Business of the Year. They were also selected by the Nashville Chamber of Commerce and the Nashville Banner newspaper as one of the Future 50. This designation applies to the 50 fastest-growing, privately owned corporations in Middle Tennessee. Richards & Richards was selected by Inc. Magazine as one of the Inc. 500, which designated them as one of the 500 fastest-growing, privately owned corporations in the U.S. Richards & Richards was number 375 of the 500.
Richards & Richards started in the records storage business in 1987, started their shredding operation in 1990 and started their DataVault in 1991.
