Waterfront Capital specializes in the sale and purchase of businesses and represents owners of records management and confidential destruction companies interested in maximizing the value of their business.
Principals of the firm (Sean Slade and Chris Howard) have successfully completed in excess of 160 transactions within the industry.
Prior to joining Waterfront Capital, Mr. Slade was Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for Iron Mountain Incorporated. During his nine year tenure; Mr. Slade was involved in 63 successful transactions; personally closing 26 while managing the completion of another eleven. Mr. Slade also conceived and managed a program acquiring small records management companies; with an additional 71 companies being acquired. Previously, Mr. Slade was a management consultant to the transportation industry with Mercer Management Consulting. In addition, Mr. Slade is the Managing Director of Winyah Capital Partners, a private equity firm focusing on acquiring and managing small privately held companies. He has a B.A. in Economics from Bates College.
