Greg is a co-founder and Principal of the firm IG2 Data Security. IG2 provides off-site data protection and technology escrow services, including its pioneering litigation escrow services, to clients around the world. Greg and IG2 were profiled in the May 2006 edition of Fortune Small Business magazine.
Prior to IG2, Greg was an attorney with the firm Piper Marbury Rudnick & Wolfe (now DLA Piper) concentrating his practice in corporate and technology law, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, joint ventures, information technology, bio-technology, electronic commerce, venture capital and securities.
Greg has structured and negotiated a broad range of business and technology related transactions on behalf of domestic and international clients ranging in size from start-up and emerging growth companies to among the largest of publicly traded corporations.
Greg earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law, where his article on diplomatic relations was published in the DePaul Digest of International Law. He also completed a legal internship with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. He earned his undergraduate degree in accountancy from the nation’s top-ranked program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to law school, Greg worked in treasury and cash management for an investment banking firm as well as business development for a multi-national insurer.
Greg is proficient in the Spanish language.
